Hi all, Just in case any of you are interested, I found a "trick" to get applications to dock when they don't want to. Example, FileRunner. It's one of my favorite applications but I couldn't get it to dock. However, many of the older X applications which many of us don't use anymore will dock. Here's the trick....(If you've heard this one tell me :-) 1. Open an older X application that you don't use (i.e. xcalc) 2. When the dockable icon appears on the bottom, drag it to the dock. 3. Close the application, and your new tile should be on the dock. 4. Right click on the docked tile and choose "set arguments". 5. Change the command to the application you wish to execute. 6. Edit the WMWindowAttributes file. Change the icon for xcalc to the icon you want to appear on the dock. 7. Save the new WMWindowAttributes file and restart. 8. You now have the executable application with the icon you choose on the dock. Just a quick trick. I've tried the "dock" command before, but didn't have much success. This seems to work great. If anyone has a better idea let me know. Also, I have to say the latest version of WindowMaker runs quite well, and the additions are great. Talk to you all later. Blaine -- Alan B.
