The practice will be the same, we can only apply through the ISP we are connecting the Net through. BTW by using traceroute and searching the JPNIC database, I presume the ISP whom PHT is connecting is NTT's OCN (Open Connection Network). They charge 5,000 /year/domain for maintaining the connection/approval status. See http://www.ocn.ne.jp/ocn/new/domain.html I will post more info when I am back home. I think I can do something on paperwork regarding applicaiton of the TLUG domain name. I will be out of town for a week from 3 March, so I can actually start to work around 11th.
