Hi all, When I upgraded Tcl/Tk last summer, it broke a lot of things including expect. I tried to compile a new one, but it doesn't want to cooperate. The configure goes fine, but when I try to make it: root:/usr/local/lib/expect-5.18# make gcc -c -I. -I. -I/usr/local/lib/tcl -I/usr/X11R6/include -DEXP_VERSION=\"5.18.1\" -DSCRIPTDIR=\"/usr/local/lib/expect\" -DEXECSCRIPTDIR=\"/usr/local/lib/expect\" -DTCL_DEBUGGER -DDFLT_STTY=\""sane"\" exp_command.c exp_command.c:159: macro `va_start' used with too many (2) args make: *** [exp_command.o] Error 1 it dies almost immediately. I don't know much about C, but I tried messing with the exp_command.c file and didn't get anywhere. Anytime I try to use the expect I have I get: Tcl_Init failed: version mismatch: library scripts expect Tcl version 7.5b1 or later but the loaded version is only 7.4 I've been using telnet a lot to systems admin work on a box across town and would really like to automate the login. Any help would be greatly appreciated....
