Here am I to bug y'all with another question.  I want to
buy an internal-type CDROM drive for my Linux-to-be machine.
Do I have to worry a lot that Linux is not listed as one
of the supported OSes on the box?  One brand I've seen
(LG Electronics) _does_ say that their device supports
Linux, but the others don't say.  And I'm leaning toward
the LG in any case, but still, I'd like to know....

BTW, I'm leaving town for a week tomorrow, so don't
worry if you answer me and expect a reply in return and
it doesn't come :^)
