XEmacs 20.0, which is supposedly coming out in the near future,
is being made Japanese-capable. You can find more about this at
http://www.xemacs.org/faq. Version 20.0 is due in mid-February,
so it could be someday soon. The 20.0 release is basically the
same as the current one, but with MULE support added in.
