And is it worth Very carefully.... On another machine.... He didn't necessarily do it on Linux, even though the #ifdef's are there to allegedly support Linux. I've noticed in a lot of cases the -DLinux and -DPOSIX_source should *not* be defined together, because there are varying ideas of what "POSIX" means, or something like that. And in the case of Linux, like most free software, POSIX compliance is a sometime, gradually improving thing. The more recent kernels have better compliance. If you upgrade your kernel and libraries (assuming you have a relatively old set), this might fix it. Or Jim Breen may be compiling on an older Linux system, in which case it'll work when he gets around to it. Dennis> my while fixing these problems one by one? Does anyone Dennis> else out there think they need/want this? Want to help? Well, Jim Breen would want to know. As for help ... this one's not for me :-( I have enough trouble with JISX-0201, let alone -0208 and I don't think I ever use -0212. Right now I'm trying to get a clean integration of TeX with Ghostscript, still.
