Nice trick, that :-) Now there's an enhancement for Ghostscript!

I use the NCSA html-mode.el (standard with Mule, now, I believe, with
a couple of additions, I have an AUC-TeX-like document skeleton
function) for HTML. I find it really hard to type <> entities that
aren't predefined because < and > are bound to < and >
respectively. :-) For LaTeX, I cannot live without AUC-TeX (available
by FTP from iesd.auc.dk, I think). Cuts out about 90% of backslash
entry.

I don't know about linuxdoc-sgml, but I've been using LaTeX2HTML for a
few days (!) now and can only give it a qualified recommendation. It
doesn't know about a lot of LaTeX stuff that I use (it completely
boots the pooch on SLITeX, and doesn't recognize \par, of all
things). I also find it encourages poor document structuring for the
hypertext versions.

I'll have to look at this.

Steve
