In the
/etc/

directory there are two files that are important,

/etc/hosts

and

/etc/HOSTNAME

make sure that your /etc/hosts

contains something like:

127.0.0.1   forejin    forejin.oasis

In this case:

127.0.0.1   is local loopback
forejin     is the name of computer
oasis       is you domain
forejin.oasis  is your full domain name

You can adjust the hostname by doing:\

$  hostname = forejin      # or whatever you want
