Sorry for not being clear. The problem I have (with Softbank) is that their plan is advertised a gigabit speed but there is a big asterix to this. You *must* use a Softbank BB-Unit *and* pay an extra monthly rental fee. And that 'asterix' isn't mentioned in their advertising ...

The hidden extra cost and required extra hardware is what irks me.
