Highly unlikely.  That guy probably believed even then he was a
candidate for the John Bates Clark Medal (for under-40s) and
eventually a Nobel Memorial Prize.  (My excuses for lack of prizes are
to get the Clark Medal you gotta work in the US -- note, not
citizenship! -- and I'm still in the running for the Nobel.  Yeah,
raaaaaaaiiiiiight. :-)
