I'm not saying that nuclear energy doesn't have problems that it would be good to address, but if you've got a choice between focusing on that or coal power it's completely clear which of the two is more dangerous and killing more people on a daily basis. >From your discussion of airline safety it appears you have the same problem in other areas.
