Re: [tlug] Kobo-Glo Reader on Sale

Following a lot of research, followed by a muchness of head scratching, I decided to plunk down ni-man-en for a Kindle 8.9 HD 16Gb model, which is currently on sale, and then blew the JPY 4,000 savings on a cover with a built-in Bluetooth keyboard, a pointer pen, and fast charger. I am typing on it now. Does it make my butt look bigger online?

After 24 hours I am still mostly impressed, although the keyboard requires firm key pushing if I use it on my lap and not a tabletop or bus tray.
The magnets on the back of the keyboard are meant to align with metal disks in the cover but the magnets are too weak to hold it firmly in place.Good keyboard feel but the space bar is wider than the switches beneath it and only works if you press in the center.
