I wouldn't phrase it that way. Dead bodies (humans and pets) are cremated
for a reason. Not doing it correctly and thus leaving unburned parts
is a serious health hazzard.
If it's your own pet, it might not be that dangerous. You were in
contact with whatever germs it had before. If it would be someone
else pet, or if i'd know it was some kind of infect that could jump
over to humans, i would not go near the remains.
