Afternoon,
After our discussion about python and ease of programming not
so long ago, i was thinking about how to make programming
as a craft easier for Joe Average. And if possible at the same
time give Joe a better understanding of what he is actually doingCan stop right here. It's the same with any subject, science, maths etc. If youhave a talented student he will learn by himself and be good, or with the a greatteacher/mentor he will become enormously good. Great teachers turn goodstudents into great ones, but the programming world lacks a good numberof great teachers. Most people only have the manual, blogs, Mr O'Reilly or the source codeitself to go by meaning they only really have that talent to count on most of the time.I've seen programmers doing a single language for 10 years, and they still write codethat makes you want to vomit. Just as you get kids who are crap at chemistry. Even if you madeprogramming so easy it was just drag and drop the Google Logo onto a box and you have createdGoogle Search those sort of students will probably still find a way to make it look and work like itwas put together by a 2 year old.Jamie
