Does anyone know how to at a private ca certificate to the centos/rhel
ca certificate bundle so that it will be picked up by applications?

I cover this in a rather dated page on LDAP.

Do you mean using LDAP for retrieving ca certificates? I was looking
for something a but simpler.

No, not at all, sorry. I meant the page was about LDAP, and sometimes LDAP servers use self-signed
certificates. However, the process for creating a self-signed cert is the same, whether used for an
LDAP server, or other type of server.

OK, sorry my question wasn't clear. I wanted to know what was the convention for adding a private self signed ca certificate so that it would be picked up by all/most applications. In Gentoo its fairly straightforward.
