I was looking for something a but simpler. No, not at all, sorry. I meant the page was about LDAP, and sometimes LDAP servers use self-signed certificates. However, the process for creating a self-signed cert is the same, whether used for an LDAP server, or other type of server.OK, sorry my question wasn't clear. I wanted to know what was the convention for adding a private self signed ca certificate so that it would be picked up by all/most applications. In Gentoo its fairly straightforward.Edward
