For now it's just sitting there. I can't promise the PPD itself will work, but one hack is to just copy it to CUPS's PPD directory. I don't have an Ubuntu system, but on my Gentoo system it's /usr/share/cups/model/<vendor>/<printer>.ppd. If you list the files there, it shouldn't be hard to guess what to name it.
