Last time I looked, I couldn't find a recent stage1 tarball but setting the cflags.CFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -pipe" CXXFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -pipe"and doing an # emerge --sync # emerge -ev world does the trick. Edward
