TLUG members,
Thank you for your suggestions on buying a Linux-compatible Bluetooth
headset here in Japan.
For future reference, I ended up buying a Buffalo BSHSBE12SV for about
2.700 Yen from Bic Camera (http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B004DTTR44/),
which works flawlessly with Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick). Headset only
needs to be set to pairing mode and coupled with the computer via the
Bluetooth panel applet -> 'Set up new device'. Afterwards it has to be
selected manually from the Sound Settings interface. No terminal
required.
Thanks to everyone who helped.
Stefan
