Hmm.... then the old(?) style is still being used in China (or Taiwan) then?

Anyway - thanks for bringing this up - finally my two old dictionaries
(bought just because they were cheap and interesting - but with mold
on the edge of the pages) have served some practical function for me!

Here's how the 1955 dictionary looks (pictures taken a couple of
months ago - not of the page with "kaisha" on it):
