TLUG, Long story short: The Japanese fonts(?) I've got on my computer are giving me different depictions of the same kanji. Quite a problem for study. The clearest example to demonstrate what I'm talking about is in this image: http://autotelic.com/Screenshot.png You can see the bushu on the left of the second kanji (underlined in red) is different in the kanji in the entry field than it is in the Rikaichan pop up box. I know the kanji in the entry field is the right one, but it's the kanji as seen in the Rikaichan popup that's actually the most common depiction, on web pages, in Openoffice, and other apps. I tried experimenting with different fonts, but I get the same erroneous kanji coming up regardless. So.. if it's not a font, then what's the problem? Any advice would be much appreciated. -- Dave M G
