Hi, Thanks for the comments. It depends on what sort of things you are interested in doing.Well, I want to share not only technical knowledge, but the knowledge for running/growing community. I'm interested in - having talks on tech and/or community topics. - organizing technical meeting/conferences. - organizing study groups in open communities. - administrating on the infrastructure (network and servers). - networking people in the different communities for collaborative works. :) And I'm also interested in running workshops, but it looks a tough work for me right now. So I guess it looks appropriate to start with having a short presentation (like a lightning talk) to introduce myself (and PostgreSQL) at first.tech meeting. I'm personally interested in MySQL/PostgreSQL usage, SQL grammer, more serious topic like replication, or even programming with API.Thanks for a suggestion. Sure, I'm very interested in this topic, and hope to introduce if you need. I'm now very interested in joining next TLUG meeting. I read the meeting notes/follows, and also interested in this.o Technical English lessons. Bruce was interested in running technical English lessons/workshops as a way to encourage people less confident in there English ability to get involved.I'm a database engineer/developer, especially focusing PostgreSQL, and am looking for some opportunities to have English communication on technical topics. In addition, I worked for a few years at Japan PostgreSQL Users Group (JPUG), so I guess it would be great to exchange our experiences and ideas on running/growing the community. How can I contribute to the TLUG activities? Any suggestions? It depends on what sort of things you are interested in doing. Presenting, running a workshop or hackathon are all useful activities. There are also various administrative technical roles that could use assistance. EdwardWell, I think from the context he means what area or theme he can contribute to. We usually have presentations in tech meeting. I'm personally interested in MySQL/PostgreSQL usage, SQL grammer, more serious topic like replication, or even programming with API.
