How's that working out for you under Windows? I have to admit, being
spoilt by TortiseSVN (well, not personally myself, you understand, but
in the role of supporting people who use it) I worry a little about how
git will be accepted.

cjs [contemplating moving O(10^4) svn commits to git soon, and fearful....]
