On the SONY Vaio there's a physical switch (on the front edge under the keyboard) that my wife didn't know was there but our daughter keeps knocking into the "off" position, making it difficult to communicate with the Internet and the printer (ooh, panic!!)
Maybe there's such a switch on the Lenovo?
Sir is correct. Sir is a genius yet again. Now, off to the big city with my cow and laptop to see if I can exchange it for magic beans.
