Just bear in mind that there are loads of fake goods for sale on eBay. The
problem may not be so "endemic" for network kit as it is, for example, for
cellphones, but there definitely is a rampant knock-off market thriving on
eBay. I've just recently had a batch of Nokia N96 phones removed from eBay.
They were all Chinese fakes. How do I know? Because the specs announced
aren't those of the real N96, which incidentally won't be marketed until Q3
this year.
