I'll qualify that a bit:

"As to actually writing maintainable code, he is useless..."

I give him massive amounts of credit for creating an Open Source
userland with which the Linux kernel could be mated. Though he'd hate
the use of "Open Source" as opposed to "Free Software" in the previous
sentence.

Currently, I think he's doing more harm than good. But I am One Man,
and I have not Done Shit in The Great Scheme of Things, so by my own
naming scheme, I am a Jackass Who Should Shut The Fuck Up (JWSSTFU).

That sounds hilarious, but I guess it was less so at the time.

Where are you currently? I think we were speculating Somewhere In The
South Pacific last time we were reminiscing about The Good Old Days of
TLUG.
