I paid 40,000 yen for my Sony Librie, and the only way to get any non-Japanese books on there was to pirate books from the eBook irc channel and format them for Librie by hand. And even so I thought it was a great deal, since it was *so easy* to read. I went on a couple international trips in a row there, and all I had to do was load about 15 novels on the ebook, no need to carry several books with me on the plane, etc. It was worth every yen, and I was quite sad when I broke it... - Drew
