- Subject: [tlug] [OT] A Question about Sourceforge
This is a little off
topic, however I have been browsing around Sourceforge, and have noticed a
handful of projects (probably hundreds of them) that seem to have gotten
started, a handful of documentation files posted, maybe even a source file or
two, then just dropped.
Really cool concept,
with all of two or three project members, and the most recent activity, forum
and mailing list archive activity included, is over a year or two
old...
Is anyone here
familiar enough with Sourceforge to know if they have options for taking over a
project, other than just starting a new one like it? Do they have criteria
for declaring a project stale/dead so that someone can basically, well, drag
it's carcass out of the grave and revive it? :P
