Sure, you explained the reason:

Put [OT], put [TLUG] and other identifiers is for filters.
Have a filter for [OT] doesn't mean the people throw it away. It just
mean:  "a filter".
Even if for you the subject is "obvious" it doesn't mean that the [OT]
is not necessary.
