> Then the VMware Tools should be installed on the Edubuntu guest system. Yes that is correct and what I did. Curiously the VMware docs have installing the tools via rpm listed under their Ubuntu section. I came to realize that using "alien" and repackaging it for Ubuntu was probably the way to go. Shawn
