Only use ~x86 on a per-package basis, as necessary. I would not use the GUI installer. Do a normal installation following the instructions in the Handbook; the time spent doing it will be well worth the insight you gain into how Linux distributions really work. Plus, when you are doing the CLI install, you can copy errors and paste them into emails to the list. :) -- Cheers, Josh
