Well, it is not an academic paper. He has a title and a conclusion.

This makes sense. It would certainly be easier to navigate.

- Shorten the story of your GF as a study case and Hyundai example.

If I were you, I will cut 70% of text.
Just think of if one should have time to read 10 A4 pages - I don't.

Dave seems to be happy with the length, and it took me 15 minutes to read it, which I did not think was unreasonable. I guess a non-native speaker of English might take twice as long, but 30 minutes is still doable; print it out and read it on the train. :)

IMO, your aritcle can be split into 3 parts:

1. Price vs Windows.
2. User interface ( cmd ) of Linux and how its prevent Linux from spreading.
3. Pirated softwares and its influences.

This seems sensible.
