I sure hope not.... but I admit I didn't check this beforehand.  Just
assumed naturally that thousands of email addresses wouldn't just be
published out there for anyone to get :-/

Paranoid?  Nope.  Just reporting simple facts :-)

Why in the WORLD would the petition people allow such a thing!?  Perhaps
it's a rule of ISO or whoever the petition will be submitted to, that
the addresses must be published.  If that's the case, it's a good thing
I used a disposable address. Well, I would never have signed if I hadn't
been able to do that.

I doubt they would - but they can certainly be careless.  Perhaps
they've been infiltrated by a Redmond mole? (how's that for paranoia
:-) Whatever the case, they're either following an ISO rule, or just
carelessly allowed their data to be stolen.  In the end it *probably*
won't cause me any harm.  The only reason I brought it up was that I
hadn't thought of the former explanantion, only the latter, at the time
I posted, and thought others would like to hear before signing with
their own non-disposable addresses.
