I think we would dare say it's about time :p For years, SOP for many
people when setting up a new Solaris install has been:

1) Install all the GNU tools to make it more Linux-like
2) Then, bring it up to patch level

Of course, there are those who would say step 2 should be done first, but
they just don't have their priorities straight ;)
