I keep recommending Accelerando [1] by Charles Stross which is very good with lots of CS related stuff. It was nominated for a Hugo award, and so is his latest novel Glasshouse.
Can any of these be got in Tokyo libraries? Or do you have copies I may borrow?
Accelerando is of course downloadable in it's entirety of the web site ( I read it on the Zaurus going to and from work). I have a few paperbacks which you are of course welcome to borrow.
