Well, we have mentioned that in this thread, but that may have occurred on Lingo (you know, where this thread actually *belongs*). ;)
in which all "objects" (more precisely, those participants with a thematic role of "patient" or "theme") come to be marked with ã, and most interestingly (or controversially :-), this change may be occuring under the influence of English and other foreign languages!
That is an interesting theory. Why would English (for example) have this influence, specifically?
