I think you'll find that the only reason HFS+ can be considered a Unix
filesystem is because it's The Mac's native filesystem. ICBW but I
don't think it's used anywhere outside the Mac world except when
compatibility with Mac disks is required. Remove Mac machines from the
equation and will you still find a use for HFS+ in the Unix world?
