If you say so, I'm sure you're right, you're far more interested in
audio (and know far more about it) than I do. However, just adding
that fixed sound in Flash 9 on an ArchLinux installation.

I had gotten the suggestion from the ArchLinux forums, and it had fixed
the problem.

However, on a fresh Arch install last night, it didn't work. (On the
other hand, sound didn't work at all till I enabled and unmuted alsa,
which was no doubt another factor. ) :)

On the first installation, I had been using, AFAIK, oss, and sound had
worked in Flash 7 but stopped working after upgrading to Flash 9.
Adding alsa-oss and doing absolutely nothing else, fixed it.

On the other hand, Dave, Godwin knows far more about sound, and
multimedia in general, than I do, so if ever countermands a suggestion
of mine concerning audio, listen to him. :)

Sounds thrilling. And M.I.T. is a clearasil ad with housing, and Yale
is a dumping ground for those who didn't get into Harvard.
Willow: I got into Harvard.
