At the last UUASC-OC meeting (Unix Users of Southern California, Orange 
County chapter) MythTV was the presentation topic. An audience member 
was running 4 Hauppage PVR-350s in one box and was very happy with 
them.

He seems to really know MythTV inside and out, and recommended that if 
you want to get Myth running as quickly and painlessly as possible, use 
the KnoppMyth disribution:

He said the time from install to actually recording programs is about 
half an hour using KnoppMyth. Considering what most people running Myth 
have to say about how much time and effort it takes to get working, 
this sounds very promising. Makes me want to build a Myth box myself :)
