I worked with Electric Mail Company ( www.electricmail.com ) in Vancouver, Canada a few years ago and highly recommend them. They're truly industry leading experts in email. They have a variety of packages including a great webmail offering that supports Japanese. They even have a backup system that keeps so many weeks worth of mail and becomes available if someone's own in-house email server goes down. I too would like to hear of any outsourcing options within Japan. - Jason
