I am using KDE and have the same problem with fvwm, twm and when I start
failsafe mode from the session selector at the SuSE login screen. With
the failsafe mode there I still have graphics in the background. There
is also a "System" menu besides the session selector, and when I choose
"Console" there I get a fullscreen black console without any keyboard
problems. The problems start as soon as I choose a session from the
session selector on the left and start it by logging in via the SuSE
login screen.
