That's your problem. X cannot find the wacom driver. And things do not
look promising with Ubuntu Dapper:

At the very bottom of the thread, it seems that there is a bug that is
blocking all Wacom support:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/35101
The good / bad news is that the last post was from today or yesterday,
so people are working on it, but it may be broken right now.
You may need to use another distro if you want Wacom stuff working right now.
