Screw AppleTalk.
Yes, sorry, I should not have mentioned AppleTalk. Its bad enough trying
to get things running without that. My past is showing.
I will try to get a little less befuddled about the simple DHCP vs
static, router vs ADSL and get NFS working between the Linux boxes.
I also realized that Linux Rute has a networking section, which I am
reading.
Previously I was just so delighted to get my Linux system working with
email and web browsing that I ignored all these matters. Now its time to
learn how to really make it work.
Thanks everybody, now I think I understand enough to start poking around
again. Back to the books and /etc files.
