Hi,

I use SuSE 10, and got this morning the usual security upgrade
warning... This included the kernel.

Good.

The upgrade was fine. Except that the X server would not start.
I tried to update nvidia driver, but it just looped downloading again
and again.

I tried manually (ftp), and got the 3
files:(NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-8178-pkg{0,1,2}.run

The problem (guess is what happened with the automatic upgrade too) is
that all of them give a checksum error when I try to execute them...

Any idea?

Is this build broken?

Just switched back to "nv", in the meantime... Probably better, anyway,
as I don't play 3D :-)
