Probably everyone already knows this, but I just discovered the
following, so I'm posting it in the off-chance that it might be useful
to someone.
FireFox Notes:
Ctrl+H - for History. I had no idea this great feature was in FireFox!
It opens a pane on the left (which can be a pain - HoHo!) with:
"Today; 2 days ago; 3 days ago; 4 days ago; 5 days ago; 6 days ago;
Older than 6 days" Clicking on any of those brings up the sites you've
accessed at that time.
Ctrl+B - brings up the bookmarks on the side - something I usually
*don't* want, but it also has a search box that helps bring up an
elusive bookmark (if you have too many of them...).
Ctrl+F - for Find, brings up a search box at the bottom of the screen.
And - not FireFox, but on the KDE desktop, hitting any letter highlights
a shortcut beginning with that letter. If there are more than one,
hitting the same letter again takes the highlight from one to another of
the icons beginning with that letter. Useful if you lose mouse support....
Sorry for what is probably already known to one and all - but I thought
there might be someone who would be interested, so.....
Lyle
