Hi,

I'm planning to connect my laptop at home thru wireless LAN
(IEEE802.11g) and have made some reading about wireless
lan router/card that is linux compatible. But, haven't got
any good information about compatibility.

I would appreciate it very much if you could give me information
how to connect a laptop thru wireless LAN and also which hardware
(router/card) to use. Furthermore, I'd also like to know about linux
version (kernel version/distribution) compatibility.

I'm a new member of this mailing list but, I have basic knowledge
of linux and have been using it. But, it's my first time to use wireless
LAN. I'm hoping to buy the necessary hardware (router/card) within
the coming weeks.

Hardware: IBM A21M P4 750MHz
Internet connection: KDDI/Dion Metal plus 50Mbps
