Yes.  It worked for me just now too, saving a Mozilla email message. 
The file name appears in Japanese with .eml after it.  Then i tried it
with an .xls file that someone sent me, and it worked again.  But with
the few but significant glitches i have faced so far, i do trust you,
that some file names don't appear properly.
