Unlike other dictionaries, every English word i have had the students look up in the last few months has been included--maybe 20 words i have had them look up--and the word frequency scale that they use seems to correspond well to the same scale used by the CoBUILD dictionaries, which is a great improvement over the unreliable scales used by other dictionaries. The Japanese language equivalents they list for English words also almost always seem like good translations--better in that dept. than many other dictionaries. Genius is good for Japanese students of English i think. That is why Genius has such a good reputation, perhaps. But none of us are such students, so... This discussion about dictionaries has been very useful for me though. Thanks. Joe
