Many folks concur that "The Genius (ジーニアス) E/J and J/E dictionaries seem to be included in many electronic dictionaries. They suck. Try to get something else." I did-- the tiny Seiko SR-M6000 has the better Kenkyusha Collegiate, and also a better searching system for the Kojien. Still lots of problems, esp the usual lack of a good way to search for longer expressions, but at least the core dictionary is pretty good. Sadly the E/J is still the Genius but it also has the Readers E/J which can be better sometimes. David Riggs Kyoto
