[tlug] [tlug-digest] No Samsung Printers in Japan

I tried to find Samsung printers in Japan, including calling the Gaijin specialist shops, and feel pretty confident that they are not avail.

Hence I had my father ship a SCX-4100 laser printer-copier-scanner mult-function, all-in-one from the US. Just came, 4 weeks after I ordered it, total cost with shipping yen 18,000. 

Just came, I will report if it as great as everyone says, including explicit Linux support.

This *can't* be right. We have had at least two discussions in the
past six months on this list involving Samsung printers. Maybe check

I cannot find it with a quick search, but I swear that somebody
mentioned that Samsung did not sell the ML-1710 or -1740, which I
recommended, in Japan, but they found a different model. Does anyone
else remember more details?
