I have next to zero interest in Plan 9.  I just find it interesting that 
someone with your obvious intelligence thinks that an OS can be designed 
and built from the ground up without making any design mistakes.  You 
site Plan 9 as an example and even a cursory investigation of a few 
release notes indicates that it does not conform to your idealistic view 
of software development.

Thanks for the entertaining thread.  Hope you do find your perfect 
project one day :-)
